👽 Close Encounters of the Fiber Kind: Our New Alien Mini Minders Have Landed

If you’ve ever found yourself knitting late at night while watching Roswell reruns or speculating about what really went down in 1947, you’re in good company. I’ve always been drawn to the mysteries of Roswell, the lore of Area 51, and the irresistible charm of all things extraterrestrial. So when it came time to launch a new design, we decided to follow the beam… straight into space.

Introducing our new collection of galactic-themed products, created for fellow UFO believers and yarn explorers alike.

For the Mini Minder designs, we couldn’t pick just one—so we didn’t! We made two out-of-this-world designs:

🛸 Kitty’s Guide – Designed by my son Colm (our in-house artist and graphic wizard), this version is a cheeky nod to Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy and features a cat mid-beam, on its way to who knows where. Because honestly, if anyone knows what’s going on out there, it’s cats.

🐄 UFO: Unfinished Fiber Object – Our multi-talented office manager, Nina, lent her imagination to this classic take on the cow and saucer motif. It’s the kind of retro alien nostalgia that makes us all a little giddy—and we couldn’t love it more.
