This Chiyogami Thread Cutter brings together function, craftsmanship, and a touch of artistry. Each piece features hand-stained wood paired with traditional Japanese Chiyogami paper, screen printed by hand on mulberry paper and sourced directly from Japan.

Because this paper is produced in small batches, every thread cutter will have its own unique color story. 

If you have a preferred color from the photos, you’re welcome to leave a note at checkout and we’ll do our best to match it. However, quantities of each paper are extremely limited, so specific colors cannot be guaranteed.

The design will stay true, but we will change the colors over time, making each tool a limited, collectible piece.
