The Original size is the same height as our regular Original Mini Minder but diameter of the the bas is a bit smaller, which will not affect the size of the cake it can hold. It will hold the same size cake as our other Original Mini Minders. The Micro size is about an inch shorter and is designed for smaller cakes like for simple amigurumi or colorwork. These are part of our Lab series so they are limited for now unless they do well and we decide to add them to our permanent collection.

What is included?

Each Mini Minder and Large Mini Minder comes with a leather strap and a cotton dust bag. Vegan strap available upon request (let us know in cart notes).

What size should I get?

The Original Size fits any weight yarn as long as it is wound on a standard ball winder-So if you wind your own yarn on a ball winder or have your yarn wound at the yarn shop this one is for you. Fits any yarn balls 3 1/2” tall.

The Not So Mini Size fits any weight yarn as long as the ball/ skein is no more that 6” tall.
